The Vogelstockerhof is the former country estate of the historical Cistercian monastery of Eußerthal. It has its beginning in 1148 and offers up until now an idyllic place to relax and enjoy.

Still today people keep on searching the "golden organ" hired by the monks centuries ago.

 

Allready in the early fifties it was known beyond the borders of the palatine wine route as a "sanatorium" offering beds and "treatments" like massages and showers as an early "SPA". This history we are going to continue with our family-run business now after the farm has passed through several hands the last years.

 

The farm is located in a charming sunny valley at the border of the Palatine Wine Route.

The beer and wine garden invites to one of the fine palatine wines, a cool beer or hocks from the grill.

Straight from the farm several hiking routes lead directly into the wood, to castles and to the picturesquely wineries and wine villages. Paragliding, hiking, fishing and biking are only some of the activities you can do. Only some more than half an hour distance to cities as Karlsruhe, Speyer, Worms or Mannheim offers intersting entertainment and sightseeing furthermore.

Outside the fence there is a bus stop in addition to the parking place so that you can go neither by car or by bus and train.

 

If you get home from your trip our cozy rooms expect you in a familiar, hospitable atmosphere.

 

Not everything is perfect here up until now but we keep on trying to replace missing perfection through passion, hospility and love for what we do.

Our passion is our small stud where we breed Southamerican Gaited Horses. So you have the opportunity to combine your hollidays with learning about these wonderful breeds and to fall in love with them.
